I have 3 different air pumps for bicycle, motorcycle and car use cases. They all use the traditional Schrader valve. These adapters retrofit my road bike tires to use the same male adapter that is compatible with my air pumps. Work as advertised, no perceptible leakage with having these valves installed full time.

Good value and came in a pack so I can have one in the bike, one at home, one in the car, etc. Wish the adapter connected to the stem instead of the valve core so you could have better results when seating the bead on a new tire by removing the presta core to get more air in the tire faster.

The threads on the valve caps are smooth; no grit or cross-threading. Color is bright and noticeable, almost neon! The valve adapters are emergency must-haves if you have a presta tube on your rim; used one of these for a friend who needed a new tube in Truckee, NV on a ride & these little dudes made sure we could top up air pressure along our way. Nice bit to have in the pack.

Had no idea I needed these until I went to try and fill up my bike tire. These seem to work okay, so I'll keep them in a bag with my bike tools just in case I need to fill up the tires at a gas station. I have a pump that fits both these Presta Valves and the regular old school auto tire valves.
