For starters, this product isn't a single piece. It requires 2 power outlets, one for pump and another for diffuser. Cheap quality. Pump is louder than the water effect so yea that's worthless. There's no holes to feed the power cord for the diffuser.Overall, total crap product. Don't buy it. Reminds me of some piece of crap on the Walmart clearance aisle. Random parts from someone's junk drawer that is now a diffuser...kinda

The fountain is beautiful, and the sound of the water is so relaxing. I had to remove the atomizer, because the water leaked everywhere. I put a towel under the fountain, but the towel became soaked with water. Took the atomizer out of the fountain and it works like a charm.
