This hammock is larger than I thought it would be. It comes with ropes and clips to get it hung up. The downside to the size of this hammock is that you need to find a large enough space to fully stretch the hammock out in. As an example, I hung it on our patio but it sags too much in the middle to be layed in. Instead, we use it as a large hammock chair. If you have two poles far enough apart, you will be fine. The hammock material feels like a super heavy linen or canvas. I believe it will be durable enough to leave it up all the time. Note, there are no spreader bars, so the hammock can sort of cocoon you if you want to be covered. Comes in a great little fabric bag.

I needed a hammock for my stand to replace a light nylon one that I apparently found such a good place for over the winter, that I hid it from myself. :/ I liked that this one was cotton but still seemed to pack down small. I got it yesterday, and when I opened the box, I was hit with a musty smell and the hammock inside the package was damp (the box was perfectly dry, and it was clear it had been packed up damp). If it had been for inside my house, I definitely would have returned it, but since it was going right out into the sun, I hoped it would be ok. After getting rained on last night and drying out in the sun all day, I am pleased that it now smells fine. Aside from that, it is a great little hammock. I got the multi-colored stripes, and the colors are great and it is very cute in my yard. I love the cotton fabric--sturdy but not too bulky, and it does pack up pretty small into a nice little matching bag. It is definitely not large, but the measurements in the description are accurate. It's good for one person. Very happy now that it no longer smells like mold.

Updated: Company apologized and sent a new product. Since I liked everything else about this hammock and now the issue is fixed, I changed to 5 stars.Old: I’ve only had this hung up for a short time and now one of the ends unraveled and now it’s just a worthless mess. Up until the unraveling, it was a great hammock. I liked the colors, it was cozy when I climbed in, and it seemed sturdy.

The hammock and accessories were nicely packed in a matching drawstring carrying sack. Hammock is good quality and the colors (blue and white stripes) are as expected and bright. The hammock works well, but does not include spreader bars on either end which some users might desire. I knew about this design when I ordered and considering the quality and price, I'm am very satisfied with the purchase and use it often! 😉 Nice addition to the back yard!PS - Of course, the frame is not included for thuis price.

The description on this is misleading. It says the material is cotton, which is why I bought this particular hammock. The tag shows a cotton, polyester, and viscose blend.I use this hammock every day, and a bit over a month after purchasing it, I’m concerned about the build quality and don’t think it will last very long. The ropes that tie it together have already started unraveling at the knot. I’m also worried that the knot is continually loosening from use. The ropes now sit unevenly from use. Getting a carabiner through the knot is also tough.I know it was cheap, but I got years out of my previous polyester hammock, and only replaced it because I managed to rip the main fabric on something sharp. It was about the same cost.On a positive note, it does not get super stinky from absorbing body odor like my last one, which was a big reason I bought it.Sadly I expect I’ll have to replace in much sooner than I’d like.

Easy to set up with the included rope. Can easily fit two people. Good quality cotton fabric is thick and sturdy.
