This works well even with just one of the supports and all of the tube on one side. I put a 70 g light at the other end of the tube and everything is stable.The supports are thin enough (13 mm) to fit in tight spaces and they fit on curved portions of a 22.2 mm handlebar. They're long enough (about 70 mm) to keep accessories clear of your hands.If you need a longer tube any 22 mm OD carbon fiber tube will fit in the supports.

This shouldn't be advertised as a bicycle extender since it's 22mm in diameter instead of the regular 31.8mm diameter of most modern bicycle handlebars, that means that most of the accessories designed for said modern handlebars won't fit on this extender.
