Really nice slicer, the only issue was that it came without directions, so I had to kind of mess with it to figure out how to use it. I love the crumb catcher in the bottom, much less of a mess.

They are not put together correctly. Mine fell apart. Never even used it. The only thing I did was pull it out of the box. The side fell off . Wasn't even attached as it should have been. I sure don't think I should have to drive to kohl's to return the damn thing. Should be just replaced for free. This is bs. I have been a customer for a long time. I will probably go back to ebay. Better quality.

I like the basic design but find it too rickety without adding support at the rear. We also routed a groove in the vertical end piece so we could store our bread knife with it. One of wedge pieces that stabilize the vertical end piece broke and I had to glue it so I could use it, so probably wouldn't recommend to someone not willing to modify it.

As you can see in the picture, the latch/lock design, is already broken on the first day. That pice was obviously and impatiently put together with proper measurements. It supposed to fit in both slot on either sides, to prevent the side rails from falling while slicing bread etc. But because it wasn't made wide enough, trying to fit those little pieces on the ends, just miss the slots, causing me to push that much harder to get it in,hence one side worked the other broken. They had the concept right but bad measurement is the flaws. So now cutting bread etc I have to hold sides tightly so bread doesn't move around zig zagging preventing a straight cut. Not sure about rest of the durability of this contraption, but as the saying goes. "You get what you paid for" 🤷ðŸ½
