I absolutely love this!! I ordered the larger fire pit and it looks exactly as described. The construction is solid, the glass is thick, and it was priced better then many others online. I have mine placed on my bedside table and use it when it's chillier at night. The best part about the firepit is the fire cyclone that it creates. I have not seen any other model advertise that. It's absolutely stunning to watch and gives off some heat.Regarding the cost to use. I've seen people mention that it is expensive to operate due to the cost of ethanol. Ethanol is costly and as a result I use 70% or 91% rubbing alcohol. Before doing this I did a lot of research. My only gripe is the bottom of the pit. It is much larger then the actual firepit. I would love to be able to remove it in order to save tabletop space but am unsure if this is purposeful or decorative. All in all, I love it!

Contrary to other reviews, the item arrived well packed and it was simple, easy and straight forward to assemble. The tornado effect is very cool! My only issue is the cost... The materials should not cost $60+... It's stamped powder coated steel, some glass and pot-metal clamps for the glass up top. If this was made in USA, I'd be happy to pay. Made in China?... Should be half as much. That being said, it was a gift for my wife who misses a fireplace. She likes it so as they say: happy wife = happy life ¯_(ツ)_/¯

These are very nice and big. I was looking for something smaller but these are great for the price.

The only bad thing about this product is it does not last incredibly long I wish that it would last more than the average 45 minutes or so depending on what fluid I use... But honestly I just roll back up with some bioethanol and fill it back up. It makes a really awesome fire tornado effect that my friends love. When you assemble it it's very awkward to understand at first with the metal brackets how exactly everything fits together but once you figure it out you're going to feel kind of dumb. Just be patient and careful because if you assemble it wrong it could fall apart and break the glass I slipped with one of the panels but luckily caught it in time. Once it is assembled it's actually pretty durable and it looks great kind of hard to clean the glass though but other than these things I would say definitely make the purchase it's 100% worth the price!

I bought 2 for $50 each, and 3 liters of bio ethanol for about $40. The first tank full in each unit ran for a while but didn't produce much tornado effect, maybe the wicks were breaking in. On the second round of fuel they really took off, and produced a vigorous tornado flame! But the burn time went way down, I mean something like every 10-15 minutes they each needed a refill. And another, and another.... Before long (couple hours) I went through 2 liters of fuel, roughly $26 worth! Being Christmas I just went with it no sense being frugal for the holiday. But if I have to refill every few minutes there are not going to get much use, also I need to find a more affordable fuel to be remotely worth having. In good faith, I really can't recommend them unless money doesn't matter to you. I use my deck a lot, and can't afford $150+ month in bio fuel.
