I bought these pants to wear on Elegant Night while on a cruise. Tired of wearing my usual black skirt. I wanted dressy and to be able to wear heals with them. I got the black 14P, I am 5'2" and 163 pounds. Amazon recommended I get 16P, but I have never wore size 16 before and was afraid if they were too big, I might not have time to exchange for a smaller size before having to leave for the cruise. So I stuck with the size 14 that I knew would fit based on other clothing I have that is that size. I am so glad I did, they fit great. The pants are smooth black, very nice fabric, with pockets, straight leg but not skinny leg at all, loose around the calves. Perfect for wearing a nice healed shoe. The pockets were sewn shut, on purpose, I took a very small pair of scissors and was able to easily cut the thread without harming the pant material. Elastic waste band is wide and smooth, could very easily wear a shirt tucked into these pants and would look nice. I am so glad that I got these pants. I am retired and don't dress up hardly at all any more, otherwise I would buy other colors because I love the fit and fabric. I would recommend these pants 100%.

I ordered and received these pants first in black and then brown and navy. All fit the same, with one exception I will describe. The black pair and the navy pair fit with a slight roomy feel to the waist. I wore the black pair and the roominess in the waist wasn't a problem, in other words the pants stayed up and where they are supposed to be. The brown pair arrived with the pockets machine sewn shut! I don't think I could rip the stitches out and not leave holes the way it was sewn, so I will wear them this way. I noticed, with the pockets sewn shut, the waist is a little more snug, which I prefer, so I will keep the brown pair, even though they are defective. (The sewn line is very heavy-duty, not like when you get a blazer with the jacket pocket slip stitched shut.) I might add the pants, in all colors, were very comfortable and have a lovely look. The fabric looks nice for the workplace. I bought size 14 petite short. I am 5'1" and normally wear a size 12, but the size chart suggested I order a 14 petite. The waist was a little roomy.

Only being 5'3", it is difficult for me to purchase pants online as many are too long. The short version of these pants is the perfect length! In addition, they are very comfortable. The pockets are a decent depth and I like the rich brown color. I will likely purchase additional colors.UPDATE: I did purchase these pants in grey. However, despite ordering the same size, they did not fit so I had to return them. The grey pants I received were also much darker than the shade of the picture of the grey pants.

Bought these as I just had hand surgery and needed pull up pants while I heal. Although I bought for temporary use I like them a lot and plan to buy another pair to add to my wardrobe. The short length is perfect for my 5'1" frame.

Ordered these pants because I was having trouble finding flexible navy pants that were not too long. I am 180lbs and 5'4" and i ended up with the size 16. The 14 was good but i wanted the pockets to lay flat on the front. I have washed and worn these several times and they still hold up.

True to size, very comfortable, nice material. Can be casual and can look dressy depending on top younwear. Great for traveling. I’m 5 ft 2 and weight 150 pds size large was perfect.

U.S. size 12 was too big, so reordered 10, which are perfect. Nice elastic waist band and material.I didn't like having to find a UPS to return the trousers, then have to fill in customs forms to New York. Another one for the charity shop.
