I read most of the reviews and was open minded about the purchase.I purchased this as part of my front porch fall decor. I love it. I was going for the cozy farm house vibes and it worked out perfect. Its not a huge lantern but its exactly the size I needed (standard size). I went to Walmart, Target and couldn't find the style that I wanted. The simple but not cheaply made (no batteries included but that wasn't a deal breaker- AAA batteries).

My hanging flower baskets were decimated by our recent heatwave and I needed something attractive on the deck in a hurry to replace the plants for an upcoming party. These lanterns are exactly what I needed. They are lit by a flameless, flickering candle that can be turned off or on or lit on a timer. They are bigger than some others I looked at and are powered by AAA batteries that are easily replaced as opposed to solar powered batteries. The price point was excellent. I have no idea how they would hold up in severe weather but for me that isn't an issue as I will simply bring them indoors when the weather is extreme or even inclement. I recommend these lanterns.

I ordered a few of these to replace similar lanterns on my patio deck from years back - they were entirely plastic and very lightweight. These new ones are beautiful and quite heavy by comparison due to actual GLASS being used instead of plastic for the window panes. They come packaged quite nicely, seemingly well-made, very attractive....BUT, the ring that is on the top of the lanterns to hold them up is VERY CHEAP AND FLIMSY. I've lost a couple due to wind, not even high winds, just some wind and between the weight of them tugging on that flimsy ring, it breaks like a strand of hair immediately, and then you have a very nice shattered mess to clean up and cannot salvage. Also, I think they're a bit expensive all considered too. When these all die a natural death, I will only replace them again with all plastic lanterns and look for extra replacement rings for the top of them as well. Easily the manufacturer could have included a couple extra for the money. You've been warned.

I am really happy with these lanterns. They are plastic and very lightweight, but I bought them for my front entrance foyer. The candles actually look like they are flickering. It took me a minute to figure out how to open the bottom to access the candles. I am really happy with this purchase.

At the price I paid, these lanterns break down to about 15 dollars a piece, and you get what you pay for. The entire lantern is plastic, including the 'glass'. I don't trust the hanging ring to bear the weight of the lantern, so mine are on the ground. The 'flickering' of the candles is very unrealistic and looks more like it's shorting out than a flickering candle. The timer function on one of the lanterns I received stopped after an hour and had to be turned on again, and then went off after an hour again. They look good as a non-working decoration, but I put them on the back porch instead of the front porch, because the flickering is too fake to show off. Adding red burlap bows to them helped their appearance. I doubt they will last through the winter, and I would not purchase them again. Aside from that, the shipping was very fast and my hanging rings didn't break, as others have complained about in the reviews.

I purchased these lanterns in October.Initially turned them on and off manually to preserve batteries instead of using the timer. They looked nice but one quit working a month after receiving them. I reached out to the seller first but got no response. I rated theses lanterns one star only because one still actually works.

5 stars for customer service. A piece was broken & when I requested JUST a replacement part, I got another lantern free of charge & I got to keep the one with the broken part ( it was just the hook needed to hang lantern) Happy, satisfied customer!!

I love these lanterns! They look so beautiful in my garden. They’re good quality and are on a timer which is perfect for me. They come with batteries and a little screwdriver so that you can clean the inside of them. I’ve had so many compliments on them. The company reached out to make sure I was happy with my purchase and the service I received from them was excellent!I would definitely recommend buying these!

I LIKE THEM BUT BUT BOTH HANGING RINGS BROKE WHEN I SCREWING THE HANGER SCREW TO THE LANTERN . THE RINGS ARE NOT VERY STRONG AND THIN PLASTIC THE WEAKEST PARK ON THE UNITE AND SHOULD BE STRONG . I REPLACED THE BROKEN RINGS WITH METAL ONE AND GLUE THEM IN . YOU NEED STRONGER AND THICKER HANGING RINGS . I DIDN'T SEND THEM BACK BECAUSE I LIKED THEM SO I REPAIRED THEM . OVER ALL THE PLASTIC COULD BE STRONGER - JERRY .

Bright Zeal is a great company to deal with and stands behind their product. When I received it one of the hangers (which you screw on when the lantern is received) was cracked so I couldn't hang it. When I sent a photo and brought it to this company's attention, it was dealt with more than fairly and promptly by "Laura" and I had the replacement within days. For the price of this product, it is well made and really looks great. I would definitely recommend it.

The ring to hang the lanterns are very fragile, made of very cheap plastic. Half of them broke the day I received the lanterns, the other half, within a months. I replaced them with zip ties. I noticed after hanging that one of the lantern is missing a glass. No broken glass in the package. And I didn’t open them either. It’s just… missing.
