Works great, only a slight hum. More noisy than a tape recorder motor, less noisy than just about any gear motor. Lots of torque.

This product has a nylon gear that breaks after some use this is my second motor all of the gears are metal except this one that is nylon type material designers need to rethink the gearbox to make it last

i bought this motor to make a welding roller so i can rotate a 250lb axel and weld the ends and then rethread on the lathe to 3 inch x 12 tpi had no problem turning the axel even went down to 1.5v to slow it down and still was spinning without issue or over heating
