My son loves brio, so we got him this so that his trains could go constantly. The battery lasts a long time, I'd estimate 4 to 6 hours of continuous play before needing to be recharged, And it is a strong little motor: the train can pull for to five cars.

This is a winner! Imagine no batteries to change, just charge it and watch it go. My grandson loves this train and I highly recommend it.

We had bought other trains before this that required batteries and hated that we constantly were throwing batteries in our battery recycling jar. We now have 3 of these trains. SO easy to charge and powerful enough to pull many train cars. So happy with this purchase! Brio is awesome!

This was a cool idea, not having to replace battery all the time, but the quality is too poor. It was working fine for about 1 charge, then maybe the next one. After that, even after I charged, it won't work anymore. It had past the 30 days return window when I find out that it is really dead and not just battery-depleted so that was unfortunate. So buyer beware that the quality maybe a miss here and you could be stuck with a non-charging train (light turn on but train wont' move).

Fonctionne super bien et en plus il est rechargeable! La locomotive est comme articulée si je peux dire, donc prends mieux les courbes.

Très bon produit, à une très grande autonomie. Mais déraille un peu trop facilement. Il faut un circuit parfaitement aligné. Peux tirer plusieurs wagons !

I have re-discovered Brio after digging out my children's set for their children! I needed a few bits of replacement track and when ordering, I was amazed to see what is available nowadays. This is no exception and although very simple in function (three way button with off, forward and reverse), it is all that you need it to do. The engine does not move fast either but this is a bonus as little ones can easily change its direction or switch it on and off.This carries around several small trucks and even a locomotive and if the track is relatively simple and the engine completes the loop, it will just go on and on. As it is so quiet, I often walk back into the room after dinner to find it still going strong.I do try and re-charge it at the end of each day as I do not want to have any disappointed Grandchildren when they play with it next.The size is slightly larger than the standard engine and heavier. The lights at the front are a nice touch. There is also thin rubber on the drive wheels to aid stability/grip. The charging port is at the back. A USB-A > USB-C cable is supplied.Great buy and adds another dimension to the Brio set.
