Great price for a sturdy, well-made train engine and coal car. The aerodynamics of these cars move them right along and its sleek appearance provides a nice -and fun -addition. Our set, by the way, includes track, accessories, and cars that our thirty-something-year-old sons played with and look like new. Now grandkids are having fun with a low-tech toy that inspires imagination and creativity. I wouldn’t be surprised if another generation after this will enjoy them as well.

This is one fast engine. The extra twist ability helps I think. I wish there were less plastic involved, that it woulda been more wood but I knew this from other reviews. However it moves much more smoothly then the all wooden classic train. It matches perfectly w the blinky “all that glitters is gold†piece. Now I just hope it stands up to my tot, he really loves it. It fits under the green brio bridges with no problems, and seems to take curves fine (even zooming down a bridge) I will edit in a month if anything is messed up.

I don't know why but I really like the feel of this toy. The train has a really nice weight to it. I have no idea why that should matter but it does. It rolls well. My son loves it. It is pricey. I can't say it's worth it for everyone. When my kid outgrows his toys, I'm probably going to keep this one for myself if he doesn't want it. I'm not even into trains.

i did not like to receive a new item and its already been opened by someone else now i have to tape it up and give it to my grandson that way for his birthday . it was what he requested for his birthday. now it does not look new

So, I typed in “battery powered trains for wooden track†in the search bar. This is the FIRST train that popped up. It’s called the “Speedy Bullet Trainâ€. Gives impression of running on batteries, but it’s a push type engine. It was nice, EXTREMELY well packaged, but we returned it when we realized it was not battery operated.

I wanted a non-battery powered, but realistic looking train for my Grandson's Brio set - and I hadn't seen many to meet my requirements. But this suited the situation wonderfully and I was thoroughly impressed in how it was built and how it looked overall. Excellent addition to the set!

Ich versuche mich bei der Bewertung kurz zufassen. Die kleine lok haben wir für unseren kleineren Enkel gekauft, dieser hat sehr viel Spaß/ möchte die nicht mehr hergeben.+ sehr gute Verarbeitung+ Magnete halten sehr gut+ Stabile Lok+ kompatible in der BRIO WorldEinziger Minus Aspekt, der Preis könnte etwas weniger sein. Es gibt hier volle 5 Sterne! Der kleine hat viel Spaß & die Qualität stimmt!
