Incredibly easy and fast replacement for a ~20-year-old fan. I was astonished to find it available.The fan recently died. It had been very noisy for a couple of years. After removing the defective part, this took only five minutes to pop in. Result: fan works again, and the noise has disappeared.Seems to be an exact replacement, other than not being painted black to match the original. The bare metal isn't visible once the grill is installed, so it's no problem.

Could not believe I was able to find this motor and fan assembly fir a 10 year old Braun- NuTone exhaust fan and light. Was almost resigned to replacing (a messy job which would have required attic work) the whole unit. This assembly fit perfectly, was wired correctly and worked perfectly. I should probably order another and store it away just in case. Motor and fan are whisper quite while moving adequate air. A much better value then a full replacement

This was easy to install and was a perfect fit. It is an expensive part (more expensive than brand new fans ) but turned out convenient. I might have saved money overall as I might have had to hire a handyman if I had to install a new fan altogether. It seems to have more power and sounds different than the original one. It is very quiet.

Didn't want to spend this much to fix a 10 year old fan but couldn't find a new fan that filled the hole in my ceiling. This seemed like the only option. The fan is much quieter than the old one ever was and seems to do a better job. Happy with results
