At first seems like a very expensive sticker, it is!!! But it solves the problem 100%, perfect fit, great texture and easy to install.

It is a thinnish, stamp-sized, elevated membrane surrounded by peel off adhesive. Be careful peeling off the adhesive. Be sure the surface of the fan switch perimeter is clean, dry, and smooth. It only took me five minutes. It worked perfectly and appears original.

Our unit is older and to be able to find this replacement was needed. Price a little high for this replacement but I was happy we could get it.

IDK how such a small adhesive button patch is so expensive. Checked online elsewhere and still about the same price. I would think something like this could be made as diy at home with some rubber materials and adhesive. Bought this only because of it looked nice although it’s in the back where one may not notice it.

This patch is nice to fill the hole, but it does not push the button to raise the fan for use. Too bad. I'm keeping it because it makes the fan look better.

Very expensive for what it is. But what else can you do?

This button is thin non-flexible plastic. The original part was rubber. Makes it really hard to push the button, and then the exhaust keeps going up and down until you mess with the button. More trouble than it's worth.

I was hesitant at first as some reviews made it sound like it was just a crappy sticker but it is a sticker with the button built it but it is strong and works like a charm. Definitely beats the duct tape that was on our when we bought the house 5 months ago it looks awful and was starting to come off too! So yes shipping seemed high for a tiny item but overall for around $20 all including it is way cheaper than a new cooktop and great way to keep that old 25 year old cooktop going !
