Fit perfect and description was spot on. Took about 5 minutes to install. I'm even going to buy another one because these are becoming harder to find as the years go on. This replaced a fan from 2004. Fan is under the grill in photo. Grill slipped right back in.

My original fan was model 671R. This model is 672R which is just fine as a replacement. I'm not a very handy guy but replacing it was so simple. After replacing it, I plugged this in and turned on the switch, and it worked just fine. It seems quieter than the original model. Or maybe my older model was just so old that it got loud over time until it failed. My previous one lasted 22 years. Hopefully, this one will last just as long.

My 20+ year old NuTone fan finally bit the dust. I really didn’t want to go to the trouble of retrofitting a new type of fan and thank goodness I found this motor assembly replacement. It’s 20cfm more and 1.5 sones louder but the louder noise doesn’t bother me, at least I know when the fan is on. If looking to replace an older motor assembly, make sure to check that the voltage is the same as the old one and the required duct size is the same. I’m a single gal, somewhat handy, and it was a breeze to replace. Tbh, the hardest part was putting that darn grill back on with those springs, lol.

Matched the number from the old fan and new one was installed in 10 minutes, very expensive unit but much cheaper than getting in the attic and installing a whole new exhaust fan.
