The lenses went in easily, worked fine and look same as OEM lights. It was more difficult to remove the lining in the deck lid than it was to install the lights. I had to replace all the lining tabs because they broke trying to get them out. So, I would recommend buying some before you do the install so you'll have them handy. Be sure and purchase a tab removal tool as well, screwdrivers do not work well.

This is a great substitute for the official BMW backup light lens assemblies at half the price. Installation requires partial removal of the inner trunk lid cover. Getting the trim clips out is the hard part. Strongly suggest you watch the how-to videos on YouTube for how it's done.

I was expecting garbage considering the price for the pair was almost half of the price of just one side from most other stores I found. Because of the price I still though it was worth to give a try. Well, maybe my expectations were too low so that I was actually impressed with the quality. Of course you can see the finishing quality of plastic on the inner part is not that great, but, will be hidden by the trunk mat, so, who cares, as long as it looks great externally?This video gives a good idea what to expect when replacing it: http://youtu.be/8tgWwI0a660Pros: Fits perfectly the trunk slot. Easy to install. Found a video on youtube.Cons: I had to shave the inside of the hole where the bulb holder clip snaps into, otherwise the clip wouldn't lock back into it.Car model: 2001 E46 325Ci vert.
