Couldn't asked for a better product for the price I would recommend a extension for thicker ice or a shorter auger. But it fit great on my strike master 8in mora better than the actual handle did

This worked great, easily connected to my auger and then the drill. This is the only way to dig a hole in the ice is with this adapter and a drill!

Haven't had the chance to use this since I just received it. But it seems solid, one piece that appears to be milled. I needed the 1/2 inch chuck since I just bought a Ridgid Octane Hammer Drill, with 1,300 in-lbs of torque, which snapped my 13 year old Ice Kicker auger adapter with a 3/8 inch chuck. The old adapter worked fine for 13 yrs on a lower torque Ridgid 18v NiCad drill I bought in 06, with about 500 in-lbs of torque. Moral of the story don't use the 3/8 inch chuck adapters with any of the newer high torque drills, get the 1/2 inch steel, not aluminum. I made a few mods copied from the ice kicker out of a 94 cent cutting board and two 3/4 inch shaft collars for a free spinning safety stop, should the adapter come loose from the chuck. For the price it was easy enough to come up with a safety stop, but they really should incorporate this into all adapters for drills. I've heard of a lot of people losing augers through the hole after the adapter loosens from the chuck. Satisfied with the quality, will update if I run into any issues of twisting or breaking but I'm pretty confident this should work fine.

Turned my 6 inch Striker Ice Auger into a power auger with no noise, no smell and no problems. Best thing I did to improve my ice fishing experience . . . The bit never slipped or came off my drill. Well made and good quality. I highly recommend!! :)

Works as described. I was worried my drill chuck would loosen allowing the auger to go thru the ice, but all worked out quite well.

Solid but mine has a wobble which makes it a bit slower to cut thru ice and probably not too good on the auger

This bit is great, I had original bought the aluminum one and had been using that. But the torque on my new drill just ripped it up, were the steal one holds up a lot better. I am using this on my strike master 6 inch hand auger. It does fit great if your wondering, I feel this is the cheapest way to get a power ice auger for under 20 bucks.Yes I recommend it !!!!

Quality adapter. Way better made than my previous one that my drill sheared off. My only complaint is it is slightly smaller in diameter that other ones I have own. I wrapped it with electrical tape to make a tight fit with my existing setup.

Well made quality part but beware, I burnt out my cordless drill the first time I tried it. Going through thick ice takes a lot of power so just be cautious that you dont wreck a decent cordless drill like I did.
