Tried another generic foot but it was very loose and I couldn’t get consistent seams. Ordered this Brother and fits correctly and keeps a consistent seam for quilting. I wish it had a material guide but love that it fits and doesn’t wiggle when sewing.

I got this for quilting because my sewing machine didn't come with one.I didn't realize how much more accurate my 1/4 " Sean allowance would be just by getting the correct foot.This is an inexpensive as that will pay outside dividend if you are a beginning quilter.

This is a keeper. It is light weight and sews nicely. I wanted a machine with the basics so I could show a child how to sew on a machine without all the bells a whistles. It is easy to thread and fill the bobbin. It is easy to clean. Great for the price. There is also a nice selection of pressor feet.

I like this presser foot. It is not a cure-all, but greatly improves my 1/4" seam accuracy.It is easy to install and use. Plus, the corner notch feature helps keep the seam looking good all the way around a piece.

Be very mindful of your needle so that you don't break your needle because of the tiny hole in the presser foot. Did you know that on the right side of the presser foot is 1/4" seam allowance? But, on the left it measures 1/8" seam allowance? You are getting two presser feet for the price of one! And it is very well made!

This quarter inch foot was perfect for my brother machine. It definitely makes a difference to my patchwork. One thing to remember is that you have to put the needle to the centre of the machine to use this foot, so if turning the machine off, you will need to remember this otherwise you will break the needle if it defaults to the left position. Delivering was next day with Amazon Prime as expected.
