This product lets you label your equipment for a small fraction of what most Property Labels cost. They don't smudge, and time will tell how well the adhesive works, but so far it has stuck fine to camera bodies (hard rubber and plastic) and metal items. This tape is thermal, not ink, so it shouldn't fade or smudge.I also use it to label things on my sailboat, which may get wet. Radio instructions, switch functions, gear in cabinets, etc.; a host of different things.NOTE: By printing vertically you can make these labels really small if you want, or printing horizontally in my Q-500 I can make them as wide as I want, banner style.I will update when I determine how they stand up over time. So far, so good!

First off my only reason for giving it 4 stars is the price. We have a automotive parts business and use 5 rolls a month. The film labels are way better than the paper but also a lot more expensive. We use only brother products in our office, and like any brother product these are great. We use them for product barcode labels. They stick well to anything except plastic containers.

These are great for mailers and also labelling individual items. I checked and they are actually cheaper than the continuous roll tape. Be careful when you put them on plastic. They stick like crazy. If you need to remove them cleanly, use a blow-dryer to heat them up then try to remove.

The BrotherDK2211 is very easy to use. It does print well and sticks well. However you may see it peel up slightly but make sure the surface has no dirt before sticking it on. We used it on panel boxes. It was a easy and cheap solution.

We've been using these for more than a year to label microcentrifuge tubes, which are stored in freezers, as well as glass and plastic vials containing specimens in alcohol or other preservatives.So far, they have holding up very well to alcohol and water. Printing doesn't smear and labels stay stuck after repeated freeze-thaw cycles and numerous exposures to water and alcohol.
