This ink is fully compatible with my printer and works perfectly. The last time I bought it, it lasted a long time, which is great for the price. However, it is a bit on the expensive side. Overall, a reliable option if you don’t mind paying a little extra for quality.

I bought 2 knock off cartridges for my Brother printer. The first one quit when it was only 1/2 used. The second one would not even register with the machine. I paid $40 for the pair and got 1500 copies before the ink got so light, I couldn't read the copies.The new Brother cartridge arrived and worked perfectly. If I get 3000 copies or close for $80 it's the same price as the 2 pack of generics that only gave me 1500 copies.One other issue to keep in mind. Brother includes a postpaid return label to return their used cartridges for recycling them rather than trashing them in a landfill. The generic cartridges I bought don't provide that service.You get what you pay for.

I struggled getting two different off-brand toner cartridges to be recognized by the printer. One worked until we had a power outage, the second just wasn't recognized at all. So I bought this straight from the Brother store, plugged it in and it was immediately recognized and prints great. I guess you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

I am a big fan of Brother printers. Mine has worked dependably for years. Either a cartridge fits and works or it doesn't. This one did. I am still using it after installing 6 months ago.
