I was ripped off! packaging appears to be a genuine brother product, fits fine, but after install unit still displays unit must be replaced shows 5% remaining. I'm thinking this was a used unit. the quality of my print is very low as though I never replaced. I think I was ripped off

I have been unable to use the printer at all since installing the belt unit. There are streaks and blotches throughout every printed page. I have followed all the trouble shooting hints on the Brother website and the only solution appears to be to spend another $130 on a new belt unit. That's half the price of a different printer, so it's a no-brainer.

Lieferung und Verpackung erwartungsgemäß einwandfrei.Der Wechsel ist bei meinem MFC-9142CDN super simpel, alle Toner raus dann die alte Trommel rausnehmen, neue rein fertig.Leider erkannte das Gerät nicht selbständig die neue Hardware von daher musste das ganze per Eingriff in die Software resetet werden.Einstellungen (Schraubenschlüssel)alle Einstellungen/Geräte Info/Lebensdauerdann ein paar Sekunden die Raute Taste (Hashtag für die Millennials)das Menü wechselt und dort dann Trommel reset drücken fertig.
