Initial thoughts:-setup: very easy. Had to pull out each toner cartridge to break off some tabs that helds things still for shipping, and pull out some plastic; took about 5 mins without needing to look at instructions. I did look at them later and it was straightforward.-size/weight: a lot heavier than I expected, but its the same size at it looks.-add to wifi: you can run a setup and connect to the printer from your PC or phone and use that to change the wifi on your printer, or you can add it manually via the small one line LCD screen. I did it this way; it will definitely be painful for anyone with crazy long passwords with extra symbols like me. It was easy, just a lot of hitting the down-arrow icon looking for next character. But it added immediately, and was available immediately for search from my PC.-printing: it prints fast and its very quiet, Enough so that when I print to it (its directly behind my wife's desk) she doesn't notice. You can definitely hear it, but its quiet enough to blend in to background noise.-print quality: documents look sharp, icons etc look good both in color and black and white-print quality, photos: used some laserjet photo paper and printed out a picture: I'll put it in the 'good enough for a postcard or to send your mom her annual family pic to frame'. Definitely not the color sharpness/brightness you'd get from CVS, but not expecting that, either. We will likely use it for our next party invite instead of going to UPS store to print.-mobile printing; TBD, haven't tried-duplex printing: TBD, haven't tried-toner life: we probably won't need new toner for 6+ months and I'll try to update then.Overall, it does everything I expect it to at the level I expected.If you need a general/workhorse printer capable of printing anything at a reasonably decent level- this is likely the printer for you.If you are looking to print pictures to frame; get a color inkjet. Or just keep printing @ CVS which is likely cheaper anyway.

I work from home and needed a printer that could print good quality pages quickly. This printer is great. It is fast and easy to work with. The ink gets pricey, but my pages print beautifully and I am very pleased with my printer.

I had a very large Brother Color Laser Printer for more than 10 years. Unfortunately, Brother did not keep making good drivers for more modern computers. I was having a lot of trouble trying to get it to do simple things like printing from the manual feeder. So, for my birthday, I asked my husband for a new Brother color printer with wifi printing capabilities (works with phones and iPads) that would work with my more current MAC computer. It is an LED printer which I guess is not the Laser Printer of old. The print quality is good. Not quite as crisp but since this new printer has current network capabilities and is less bulky, the print quality is good enough. I am dreading when the color toner cartridges need to be replaced because they are expensive but luckily I don't do tons of printing. Very happy with this printer.

Ceasing with the butt kissing now.)Unless you love wasting money and toner, DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!Imagine this nightmare I'm living:You have a project due the next day, but you're not sweating it. This printer is new, it's not going to give you any problems. Except it decides it's done using the toner left in its cartridge. It hasn't even made it to 1,000 pages - it makes it to 799. Are those 799 full ink pages? No. It's mostly one address per page printed in size 14 font. This printer has been hijacked until you buy a brand new Brother brand toner cartridge. You then spend an hour with a Brother rep:Us: Yes. I need to reset the toner. I was able to do it on previous models by pressing cancel and secure, but the buttons aren't working on this one.Brother Rep: I can help you with that!Us: Thank you, that would be great.Brother Rep: You are welcome.Brother Rep: Did you replace the toner?Us: No, it doesn't need to be replaced, it needs to be reset.Brother Rep: Are you getting an error on the brother machine's display?Us: Yes, it says replace toner cartridge black (bk).Brother Rep: Thank you. Did you recently replace the black toner cartridge?Us: No, it has not been replaced since we bought it, we've hardly used it.Brother Rep: Thank you.Brother Rep: Thank you for waiting. There is no toner reset steps for the HLL3210CW. Also, the machine comes with a starter cartridge that prints approximately 1,000 pages.Brother Rep: The approximate toner yield is in accordance with the testing protocol ISO/IEC 19798 (Letter). The testing protocol involves continuous printing of a 5% coverage sample page of text. Users who typically print documents with a toner coverage higher than 5% should expect a lower page yield per toner cartridge.Brother Rep: In order to remove the "replace toner" message, you would have to replace the toner cartridge.Us: So because the black toner is "out", the entire printer is hijacked? They would rather you spend your hard-earned money and throw a still-good chunk of plastic away than actually let you use up what they have given you, what you have already paid for.We should be allowed to use the ink until it starts to fade! I have the right to a barely readable printout! I have the right to chose to switch to blue ink if the black is out. Except Brother says I don’t. I have to buy and replace the black ink before I can use any other ink. "Sucks to be you," says Brother.

Un excelente producto, fácil instalación, no necesita que descargues drivers automáticamente se instala en la computadora asà como la configuración de la misma imprime dúplex sencillo tarda un poco en procesar pero una vez comenzando a imprimir no hay ningún tipo de pausa y la velocidad es bastante buena.
