Printer was acting up from the beginning. Papers constantly jamming and black ink everywhere. I initiated a return and, while Amazon accept the return request, the seller refused to confirm a refund after they received the printer. Despite requested assurances they would refund the $400 purchase price, the seller was evasive and repeatedly stated they would have their tech specialists look at theprinter upon receipt. And then they stopped responding altogether.

The beginner tonder cartridge that comes with this printer is worthless. Count on spending $90 moreimmediately for a decent cartridge.

This was a great investment!! It has everything I need in one. And most importantly, I don’t have to keep buying ink every month which was a headache for me! The quality of printing is great, I love that I can print from multiple devices. I am a very happy customer thanks to Brothers printer!

I reviewed the Brother printers and this model was championed as very good especially for scanning. I scan invoices each week and rely on this feature of my printer. It worked fine for about 3 months but now it consistently has scanning problems for every batch of invoices. It will scan a few pages and then rapidly send the rest through the machine and exhibit an error message on my computer. I've tried everything from how I put them into the machine to holding each invoice as it goes into the machine. This is my first and last Brother printer especially since I have to go by a replacement printer after only 3 months.

The printer is fast and economical to use. It is inexpensive to use and maintain.
