I thought it was the holy grail -- to find a printer that doesn't suck. I found it here! Not only does it NOT suck, I actually hug it every time it prints.1. Easy as hell to set up, you don't even have to use the mobile app (but I did set that up also and it was a few extra steps but also easy). Airprint works instantly.2. So fast, so quiet. I had a Canon MX something that would take about a few minutes to think about printing, and then another minute to print, and the page would usually jam in the middle of the job. The Brother has NO such issues. The Canon could take two days to print a 60 page document (because I had to keep taking breaks from unjamming it and resetting the job so as not to throw it through the window). Those days are gone forever!3. Color is not going to be like a photo printer -- it does not take photo printer, please note -- but color is fast and bright and perfectly acceptable for a document (vs. a photo).4. My setup is a home office, my printing needs are relatively light, so I agonized over the cost vs. use but when a printer JUST WORKS these days, it's so miraculous that I decided the cost was worth it and used the Affirm payment plan to make the finances work.5. I did not have to sign up for the ink program, my uses are so light it would be an unjustifiable expense.I spent about a month researching and comparing and reading all of you good people's reviews -- some of which are super funny -- of this printer and others, and finally the day came where I couldn't stand even the thought of trying to print on the Canon so I pulled the trigger. I know I'm not alone in the "I hate my printer" category but I might now be one of a dozen people in the "I love my printer" category.It arrived in a speedy timeframe and it was packaged so well that if it had been a baby, it would have slept without waking from a single bump.Brother is my brand and this printer is 5 stars!

Works exactly I had hoped it would right out of the box. Software was easy to install with simple instructions. For me, scanning to a computer is the most important feature, yet most manufacturers (HP specifically) make it difficult or just can't do it. With this printer, I literally click A SINGLE BUTTON, and what I'm scanning appears in my computer's download folder with no fuss or delay..it's a beautiful thing. Thank you Brother! Printing is effortless as well. Toner is more affordable than others too. I went through multiple other manufacturers but so happy I found Brother.

I replaced a 12.5 year old Canon Multifunction Color Laser printer with this one. Wow! I wish I'd done it sooner. The Canon served us well, but we had been plagued with inconsistent printing quality including streaks and imperfect colors. I changed the toner carts which didn't fix the issue. This Brother laser printer is light years ahead of the Canon in terms of quality, ease of use, and speed. We really love the single pass duplex scanning too! We'll see how it holds up!

Easy to set up and start using. Print speed and quality are good. I have had two jams on larger print jobs a little aver 100 pages, easy to clear but you need to get behind the printer to do this. Having it on a model cart or something with wheels for it to sit on.

This was a first laser printer because we were tired of ink cartridges but this is way worse!!! The toner sensors is jacked even though there is powder in the toner the printer won't allow printing and there is no override to tell the printer there is still toner you must buy more toner cartridges regardless of how much toner remains. I called brother and there is nothing they can do. It does print well but be aware the operating cost of this machine is insanely high!!! For a $500 printer and $300 monthly on toner it is worth buying a different brand printer that will allow printing until the toner is empty and prints blank sheets is worth it if you can find one doing research now.

There are a lot of comprehensive reviews on here so I'll keep it short. Overall I like it. The setup was quick. Menu if easy to navigate. First page out is fast and the quality of the prints are fantastic. That's the good. As for the bad, for some reason when I use the ADF to copy or scan pages it cuts off the sides. I've tried everything to alleviate this but I haven't been able to prevent it. Scanning is worse than copying. The scans produced via the ADF are unusable. In order to prevent this I'm forced to use the glass and handle each page manually. Big inconvenience given the ADF. Additionally, envelopes come out horribly. Not the print quality but the envelope itself is scrunched up when it exits the printer. This thing just eats the envelopes for some reason. For this reason I'll probably be looking at something else once the toner runs out.

Lots of features and they don't really talk about some of them . I am in IT so I found them. It has 2 separate email gateways so you can be on any computer in the world and send your printer a print job via email. Of course it has smart phone apps for printing and they work great as well. You can also easily use the ADF to scan multiple documents that will convert them to pdf format and then send them out via email. Another positive is that Brother print drivers typically work much better and do not give trouble like some of the other brands. Once I install them they normally keep working. I have them installed on 2 macs, several windows machines and a Linux machine. Color quality is good but not quite as good as the 10K Xerox machines at work. But they are fine for our needs. Recommend

Calidad de impresión es impresionante, tardó 3 semanas en enviarlo pero me respetaron el precio cuando lo pedÃ. Tiene tecnologÃa MFC y hasta conexión Gigabit. Instalación muy fácil
