I used three of the BRUFER Wire Rope Clamps to secure the free end (with thimble and 3/8" hook) of a 3/8" winch (extension) cable I purchased at Harbor Freight for use with a Viper 12K winch purchased on Amazon. I have been using this combo to ensure the 12"-30" pine trees I "drop" on our property fall where I want them, and at times the strain being put on these clamps is sufficient to slide my 7800 lb Titan truck across the ground, so they CERTAINLY work as they should. They aren't sexy - they just WORK.

This product is stated as being 3/8†but in reality is 10mm. When compared to American made 3/8†clamp, there is a significant difference in size and strength. I was was able to find a true 3/8†clamp for picture comparison. If you need something strong like for cable fencing, don’t but these.
