This is a great tagine. It's enameled cast iron and a large size, so it's heavy. I knew that when I ordered it, but it's worth mentioning again. Other people have commented that this is not a "real" tagine, that it's not ceramic or clay. No, it's a modern update. The cast iron assures even heating, and the enamel assures easy clean-up. And the cast iron is nicely seasoned, so you don't need to worry about that chore. Just make sure to read and follow the simple directions and this will last a lifetime and beyond!

You can basically put anything in it and forget it for an hour or so under medium heat.You can use it in the oven or stove top. Bones will fall of chicken and meat from the intese heat.So far great.

It's really nicely seasoned. I thought I'd have issues cleaning it and nope it's great. I will say it's heavy but it's cast iron so that was expected. Smaller than I'd like but I guess if it was bigger it'd be heavier still so that's not really a complaint, more just I really like the food that comes out of there and wish there was more... haha

Arrived without chips or dents! Very heavy cast iron with enamel coat that is well built and without any challenges regarding quality.

I am very disappointed with the quality and quality control of this item. The enamel is broken and flaking right out of the box. It is an obvious flaw that should have been addressed at the point of manufacture. The packing seemed appropriate for this item: cushioned wrapping, cardboard separators, etc. I don't think the damage occurred in shipping, all cartons were in good condition. The manufacturer just needs to understand and use quality control practices.

It works great :) We've used it both indoors on the stovetop as well as outside on the camp chef stove.Definitely recommend - especially if you like making stew-type foods

The tagine came after a few days being shipped from abroad. It’s a brilliant cooking vessel. It cooks wonderfully on very low heat10/10. Excellent value. Highly recommend it. Right size right volume. 👌ðŸ½ðŸ‘ŒðŸ½ðŸ‘ŒðŸ½
