My daughter got this for Christmas and LOVES it. We use it frequently and we love everything about it. The one thing we do is use tea bags instead of loose leaf tea so it is easier to clean.

I really do like this product, however, I did have to get an exchange due to the first gaiwan leaking even when the magnet was not pressed against it. There were also other quality differences, like having little spots in cups I could not remove, the gold detailing being faded on some cups, and the magnet in the pitcher being sealed less in one of them. Also one box had an extra silicone stopper while the other did not. Perhaps some quality control issues?The 2nd was not leaking at first. But after using it, it is leaking a little bit. I think its due to tea leaves getting stuck in the little chamber with the ball. It is a bit hard to get out the little tiny pieces of tea that slip through the filter edges. As you can see in my photo, it looks a little different than the listing photos. (My tray was also black despite listing photo being white, not a problem for me but something to note) Due to filter and silicone seal, it is a little difficult to clean in that area.Now for positives:I do enjoy using this and the packaging was of good quality. Very nice box. It does what I wanted even with the issues. I wanted a lazy kung fu tea set but a lot of them are quite large. This is peefect size for a single person. I also enjoy that the gaiwan stand is a solid metal. (Though this means sometimes pitcher magnet accidentally stick to it)I would recommend this product, however, I would encourage an exchange if the one you recieve has some issues.

was way smaller than i thought, makes maybe less than a regular mug (my fault for not looking at measurements i suppose) it was cute but the paint in one of the cups was messed up. i ended up returning it because the magnet in the handle came out after the first use.

This ceramic Kungfu tea set is of good working quality. The magnetic ball allows the flow of tea and stops perfectly as you pull the cup back. The lid is of the tea bowl is slightly off being perfectly circular but adequate with an adjustment of the lid. Everything is almost as described because I got a black tea tray rather than the white one depicted in the add. But still an impressive Kungfu tea set.
