Super high quality and heavy duty pole. I used a brake drum from a semi-trailer which already weighs about 70 lb and filled it full of concrete and put this pole in it. That way it's slightly portable. It worked great and this pole is rock solid. My grandkids and all their friends have been playing on this thing constantly since I built this setup in mid December. This is going to last a very very long time. Well worth the price.

Just what I was looking for. Sturdy pole, the kids and adults have loved it. We've had it for 2 months now, the rope did break, but I was able to fix that. We pounded the pole about a foot and a half in the ground with a sledgehammer, put a tire around the bottom and filled it with big heavy rocks. It moves a little, but not enough to really notice. We didn't want to use concrete so we could move it if we needed to.

So I ordered this so my kids can have something more to do. Expect two different packages probably delivered on two different days. The ball came first & does not include a pump so if you don’t have one you’ll definitely need to get one. The string is extremely long too but wasn’t a big deal. I read reviews about the ball being extremely hard on the hands but I have no complaints will not know how long it last as I just put it up. The pole is definitely a heavy duty pole. The only think I disliked was 1. The eye hook wasn’t automatically attached to the pole, the bolt they sent with the pole is way to short & barely made it out the other side to put the nut on. 2. The second pole you attach to the first was also off the holes somewhat don’t a-line and the screw they sent for that part was also short & barely made it out to the other end. We were able to tighten as much as we can but it looks we may have to replace the bolt with a longer one. Tether ball works fine, we cemented the bottom pole into the ground as for the second pole it’s on and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere but it does wobble a bit when we play (I’m assuming because it wasn’t aligned right) but other then that it was a pretty ok buy!

This tether ball set is great! It is sturdy, the metal pole is heavy gauge and that was what I was worried about. I did not want is to sway as we played. The company is great!! My first order got lost in transit and when I checked with them they immediately put another one in the mail that night. I received it in two days. I will be buying more items from them😀

This is an awesome pole... our grandson has fun with it but we’re a competitive family so MANY teatherball tournaments have been held. We cemented it right in the yard.. I see that a lot of people put it in a tire to make it portable but I didn’t see the point since it’s a steel pole and you can take off the rope and ball for winter. If you have little ones, you may want to invest in a softer ball.. the one included is pretty hard.

Kids love this as well as the adults lol. 2 piece pole, very sturdy , we used 5 gallon bucket with cement and buried the bucket , follow original directions for depth. Very happy with this. We bought extra ball ( sun faded top already) just in case.

I received this as a Xmas gift and we recently cemented in place. We play HARD on this thing and it is holding up awesomely! My only concern is how hard the ball is since we might be a little too competitive while playing, but it’s softened up a lot over the past month. I would definitely recommend this to others!

Tetherball!!!!! Our friends have this tetherball in their backyard and my children LOVED it. We ordered it and put it in our backyard. It is a HUGE hit!!! We do a lot of entertaining, and children flock to this thing. We also have a big swing set and in-ground pool, so it's a nice addition.I'm not sure about some of the other reviews that say this is not sturdy. I anchored in in Cement, 2 feet deep, as recommended. It is not going anywhere! I know it will provide years of fun for us!

Good quality heavy gauge galvanized pole. Would be nice to have a solid ground sleeve available so the pole could be removable. The rope has frayed badly already after two 30 minute games with my son however. The ball is also very hard on the hands, have already ordered a softer one.
