I bought this goal for my daughter who is playing goalie this year. This goal is rugged and heavy...it's definitely built to last. The net was also thick and well made I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Easy to put together ...just fit the pipes and throw in the bolts...only took 5 minutes. Stringing the net was tedious, my wife and I strung every square of the net to the pipes which probably took 30-40 minutes. You could cut corners and do every other square but it looks great and works great when you do it right. The goal didn't come with instructions for strining the net to the goal so we went to YouTube. If you're looking for a legit goal that isn't light and wobbly and won't turn ratty after one year buy this goal it is built to last and worth every penny.

I was a little worried about ordering this item based on some of the earlier reviewers who said they didn't receive the net, only the frame. I didn't have that issue. The frame and the net came in separate boxes of the same delivery. The frame is made from solid, heavy gauge steel. It comes in six pieces that slide together easily and are secured by allen bolts that screw into the threaded frame bars. The frame has bars welded on the back that are used to attach the net. The net I received seems better than the one in the picture. It is made from heavy duty twine and reinforced bindings. It came with two lengths of cord to attach it to the frame. My only complaint is that there were no instructions included as to how to actually do this. But, using some common sense, I got it done in a couple of hours. I started in the middle of the crossbar and worked my way to the right, looping the cord through the frame bars and every other square of the net at the outer binding. Keeping the net tight around the corners takes some effort. Make sure you get it right before continuing, as having to backtrack is a pain. When I got to the middle of the back of the frame, I tied the cord off and had so much remaining that for the 2nd cord I looped the cord thru every square of the net instead of every other. I figured this would make the net that much stronger, but who knows. It certainly takes a lot longer. There is just enough cord to pull it off. Overall I am happy with the purchase. For the money, I don't think you can find a better goal out there.

Product arrived in broken box with missing nuts/bolts and NO NET! Didn't go to set it up for month after it arrived and lost my window to contact the seller to fix the problem. Looks like it was a returned item. The frame is nice and solid but useless without a net.

you wont find a better practice lacrosse goal for this price anywhere! I was concerned about the reviews claiming the net never showed up, but was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered in two boxes and one box had the net, which by the way is very robust.tubing has just enough weight and strength to take on HS aged shooters without denting so my 12 year old will get plenty of life out of this goal.as the other reviewers stated the steel is powder coated orange and the welds appear to be of good quality. the one area to look out for is in the welds or more specifically the alignment of the top cross bar corners. my welded corners were not exactly straight but good enough to retain the 5 star rating. one corner appearded to have a slight dent in it but I think it is a factory straightening procedure, it was painted overthe assembly was easy for the tubing, good fit on the screw holes and everyone threaded smoothly! the net takes a long time to attach correctly! and dont do it on your lawn if you have a bunch of leaves and twigs lol. get a stool or turn the goal flat with something to raise the bar a few inches off the ground.go on line and search for a video which demonstrates how to interlock the netting to the welded wires. do each hole in the net near the corners then skip one or two a foot away from the corners.very pleased with this purchase

For the money, this is a great Lacrosse Goal. My son practices a LOT in the backyard. The first real goal I bought 4 years ago finally succumbed to a shot and snapped at one of many rust lines. After shopping around online, I bought this not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Well built, went together easily and the net itself has held up for a couple of months now, as long as the last $100 net I bought (they usually end up with a hole somewhere in the first 2 months with my son). This one still has no holes and was a good, tight fit.I paid at least this much for last goal which didn't have the stringing bars, you just wrapped the string around the entire goal post. The stringing bar on this one made it about a 30 minute job vs. 1 hour on the old one. Mind you, I took my time and made it really tight, tripling up in corners, etc...A great value!

Product arrived on time , looks sturdy. Small problem with one of the net brackets protruding through the tube preventing a connection. Nothing a chainsaw file and a little effort could not handle but how about quality control at the factory! Not enough to send it back but a little annoying.

I selected this goal because it has right angle corners as opposed to the rounded corners found in most affordable backyard goals. I looked at reviews before ordering and the only negative I found was that it takes a long time to string the net. This should not be a surprise because of the stringing loops on the back of the pipes. This avoids having the string wrapped around the poles. It is worth the effort because this is a good solid goal. The assembly was easy and the joints are solid. I have recommended this model to my son.
