For the price, you get what you pay for. This bag has no padding AT ALL and is strictly to prevent scratches and scuffs. It WILL NOT protect your drum in a fallUpdate: this bag lasted all of 3 times being taken to drum circles and BOTH straps tore off at the top and now the bottom of the straps are ripping and have made a hole.DONT BOTHER BUYING THIS BAG!! Save your money and spend a few more dollars for something that’s actually worth it

I bought this bag for my djembe drum and it did what it supposed to do for the most part. It is very durable, so yeah I would recommend this bag to anyone.

The first time (literally) zipping up zipper, it broke on me. That’s the definition of a poorly built product. I pushed through that and tried it out. As far as carrying the drum it was fine, but the shoulder straps have NO cushion and dig right into your skin. I have marks on my skin from yesterday where the chest and shoulders meet from wearing that carrying case. Will send this right back to Amazon.

In fairness to this product, I used it as a case for my drum stool, which is many times heavier than a djembe. I am sure it is not rated for that weight. However, this case should be only used occasionally/lightly even for carrying a drum. The best use of this case might be for djembe storage. The zipper gauge is small and the stitching around it is weak so it failed after only a handful of uses. The material is very thin, but despite this the carrying straps held up the few times I lifted my heavy stool.

The bag broke after a week. I have a 12 inch djembe and after a week of using the bag for a pilgrimage. The bag broke. It fits but I recommend using this bag for a djembe that weighs less than a normal 12 inch
