Love these stockings, Bucilla in particular, I’ve done several of them. Plenty of materials included to complete project. Great quality of the materials included (thick strong felt, strong floss, beads are solid, very few break but they’re glass it’s understandable, sequins are free from imperfections, perfectly concave and covered with proper color, some brands send sequins half colored 😒) I wouldn’t suggest this for beginners tho, I would find some simple ornaments first and then move to stocking, especially this one. I absolutely love it, but my favorite thing (I think this includes ALL Bucilla products if I’m not mistaken) is that the felt is printed with the pattern on it. Some companies send felt and then paper patterns and that is NOT fun my friends - not gonna lie I still buy them and do them cuz I love sewing and crafts but I will pick printed felt over non printed every single time. The felt doesn’t get fuzzy and pilly the more it’s touched, it stays smooth and glossy, the floss is unmatched as well, some projects I bought fromChina and the floss does this weird fuzzy, cotton fray after only a couple passes in stitching, Bucilla’s floss stays smooth and glossy as well, no fuzzing or fraying - plus it has led lights, pshhh! Who doesn’t love tiny lights on a decoration?! Pure joy 🤩

This is a first time attempt at one of these kits. I was able to complete the project in less than two weeks. I think it was very fun and I am happy with the outcome. Because of other ppl's reviews, I used green sequins on the top part instead of white so I wouldn't run out. I actually like the look better. I found the backing to not be thick enough, so I will be buying more material to make it into a functioning stocking. But other than that, I had no issues with running out of any material. I didn't care for the instructions, so I used you tube for help with the different types of knots. That and referring to the main picture for where to use what color of thread/sequins this made for a very enjoyable project. I will be buying others from bucilla in the future!

Most Bucilla stockings give you a lot of materials but this one is very very short on the white sequins. It's not a big deal because you can easily find the white sequins on Amazon (they're not the iridescent ones btw) but it is surprising considering how other Bucilla felt stockings I've worked on typically give you extra materials in case of defects.However, I will say that I am very happy working on this stocking. It is really quite beautiful. It is very detailed and as others have noted, this is a more advanced stocking than others. It's not the hardest stocking I've worked on though so if you're looking for a bit of a intermediate level stocking, this would be a good candidate.

This stocking turned out so beautiful! I've made several bucilla stockings and something I've noticed is that they are not all the same quality, however, this one definitely had good quality felt and thread. This one in particular is on the difficult side and it was a lot of fun to assemble! If you're a beginner and not inclined to sewing you may want to start with an easier kit. Also I did run out of thread and some sequins but there's a number you can call and the company will send you what you need for free!

I have done many kits from Bucilla. I have two of these kits and the other one with the Christmas Tree also with lights. If you have never done one, that is the reason that I gave 3 stars for beginners. However, if you have done other Bucilla kits, it would be 5 stars for assembly.

I found that the metallic gold thread was difficult to work with. Having a few additional needles in the kit would be a welcome addition.

They did not include enough white sequins in my package. I ran out before I finished the main stocking. There was no way I could make the bonus ornament, too. The directions require careful reading and the "thread" needs to be unraveled so you can use the correct number of strands for each application. They do supply two needles, however, the smallest beads had irregular holes and sometimes were too small to let the either needle pass through them. If you have done these before, you will find it much easier than I did.

Everything needed to create stocking. Not top quality thread or felt, but didn't expect that when purchased. Would be nice if DMC threads and Wool felt, but generic is still ok. Fairly simple instructions also.
