It works good so far. I probably should have bought the bigger one but didn't because it would have taken 4 days longer. (Shipping).

My fault but the pump in my Eastwood parts washer went bad. This is the exact same pump as was used originally. No replacement parts through Eastwood, although they will sell you a new one with a 10% discount. $35 for this pump or $150 for a new washer. Hmmm? Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Wired it up, filled the parts washer and immediate success.

This pump was much smaller than the old one and didn't fit. You should add an extra photo of the back of the pump to show the hanging slots. The size description is also wrong. It describes the size of the box, not the pump. I intend to return this pump and purchase the larger unit.

I bought this to replace a pump from a Northern Tool 3.5 gallon parts washer. When I first intalled it everything was fine, after using it a couple times it quit running. I thought I would try to see what is happening so I opened it up. I use petroleum based solvent so I'm guessing it didn't react well with the rubber that's inside the pump. After to some playing around with it it does run again. The pump delivers plenty of fluid. For the price I am satisfied.

Installed the pump (Model PWP20) and tested it for 5 minutes. It looked great. Came back a week latter it didn't pump. Dismounted it and found the motor did run. Removed the intake grill and the impeller was free but barely connected to the motor. The impeller is spinning but not at speed and with no torque.Based on other complaints whatever is between the motor and impeller probably dissolved in K1 kerosene. No solvent restrictions are marked on the package. I was a few months getting to this so the Amazon return has expired. No manufacturer warranty information on the package. In very fine print (need a good magnifying lens) I found a phone number for service, 1-888-287-6981. It's a Saturday, I got the answering machine at Buffalo Tools, Open at 8AM Central time, presumably weekdays only. Package claims a 5 foot cord. It was more like 15 inches but fit perfectly as a replacement. Also claims to include a "flexible metal spigot elbow". There's no way that spigot or the 5 foot cord could ever fit on the package size, pretty shoddy!I have work to do and may end up scrapping the thing and replacing the whole tank. The repair route may be getting too painful. I tried.UPDATE.......So I did get into the pump. The cover pops off and the intake port/impeller support comes out with a twist.Problem 1. The intake take includes a rubber bushing for the impeller shaft that swells in K1 and binds the pump up. I was able to trim the flange end of the bushing to create some space and it ran OK. definite material choice issue with this bushing.Problem 2. The motor element on the impeller shaft is a permanent magnet. The sealed motor drive pulls this magnet around to generate torque. Where worn parts often have steel filings in the grease and the filings become suspended in the solvent this becomes a filing trap loading up like a porcupine. The filings cause 1 or 2 effects. The filings will get to a point of mechanical interference. Secondly they seem to disrupt the magnetic properties dropping the drive torque to nearly zero which explains the soft drive feeling I initially observed. I don't see any way of avoiding this as a recurring problem.Bottom line: This pump is not suitable for a parts washer with solvent or where the is the potential to have steel/magnetic filings in suspension.

Seems good although a bit noisier than the one it replaced. Many pumps are NOT solvent compatible but this one was advertised as it is compatible. I've had it immersed in solvent for a month or more now and it's still working.
