Your cart is empty.The Bugz Sight Shield was developed for large particle eye protection in hostile environments like, logging, wildland fire fighting, landscaping and mining. In all these environments either high heat, humidity or dust proves to be very challenging for a normal polycarbonate safety glass. The combined elements in all these endeavors stresses the strongest anti-fog or hard coatings. After a short while, these products all fail. The Bugz Sight Shield uses an anatomically designed polycarbonate frame that matches the facial bone structure. In addition, an open cell foam is used to further enhance comfort and seal. To protect the eyes from large particles coming off different tools, the Bugz Sight Shield employs a high tensile strength, stainless steel wire mesh lens which is sonically welded into the frame. These lenses stop the particles from entering the eyes, but will not fog up, or become so scratched they are unusable. Additionally, the BUGZ Sight Shield uses a soft and comfortable polyester strap to hold the product in place, no matter what position.

For what these are, they are great. I got the 30 mesh, and I’ve looked up at the wrong time and got stuff in my eyes, but nothing bad. I’ve noticed in the right sunlight the screen is very visible, but I might try spray painting the inside black. Not a hindering problem though. Overall for what they are, they do the job quite well, (protect your eyes from large flying debris, and no fog) and are very well built. They are also very comfortable. I’ve worn these now on 5-6 occasions all day no problem.

I use these while Weed Eating, Bush Hogging, mowing with my DR. or using my Chain Saw... They do hamper your vision a little bit but if you have ever caught anything foreign in your eye, I think you will agree that they are well worth the little bit of sight blockage that comes with the protection they provide...

I love these things! Yes, your fine vision is slightly obscured but SO much better that glasses that fog and get dirty so quickly. I used these for the first time today running a chain saw. I was taking slices off of a big red oak log so it would fit in my sawmill. The chips flying were ridiculous and I was covered from head to toe within a second or two. It was SO awesome to be able to keep my eyes open and not worry about fogging or chips flying in from the sides. I would highly recommend these for anyone needing glasses for bigger, light particles.

I am quite pleased with the 30 mesh, so far. They keep out the dry stuff quite well, are comfortable, and provide a fine view. I do wear a hat, which keeps any reflection of the sun from creating a glare on the mesh. The foam around the eyes feels good and I pretty much forget I'm wearing them after a while. The head band is adjustable to a pretty large size, but with my fairly-large head, this places the adjustment buckle behind my ear. This doesn't pose a problem for my particular ear protection, as it's soft enough to conform around the buckle and still seal out the noise. These are now my preferred eye protection while using a chain saw (for what it's worth, I'll still use glasses or a face shield while weed wacking green/wet vegetation).

The 30 mesh blocks out small pieces but still allows fine dust through..obviously no fogging.Fits over a hard hat for easy on/off visor action. They seem durable and dont have alot of glare , decent UV protection. Also look pretty cool and scares away insects.

Simply put.. these are great! My spouse is a wildland firefighter and the goggles they give them get smudged and foggy often. We ordered these and he loves them!

The goggles came with a little damage to the foam. The elastic band was tightened all the way and compressed the foam which appears to be permanent. Otherwise the goggles are comfortable to wear and surprisingly more vision than I had imagined. These are great for arborist who are tired of fogging glasses. I would like to see them change their packaging process to avoid damaging the goggles. It's a shame to spend good money and having the product come with damage caused by the manufacturer and the reason I took off a couple stars.
