This piece had potential but the existing product I was used ng was too different. I also found that the potential knockout would need to be bigger and it would be a hassle to trim the part to be compatible with that difference.If it was a new build and the color matched then it probably would be a good solution but trying to retrofit it needs to be pretty similar to your existing hole.

A perfect match for my siding. There is a slight indentation (sort of visible in the pics) around the holes in the center which causes a small item, like a ring doorbell, to not sit totally flush.

Not universal. Does not fit dutch lap siding. Make sure you get the correct type for your siding type.
