I have used this accessory with my X4, as bullet time handle and a tripod. It works great for both applications. As a bullet time handle, it connects to the selfie stick of my choosing and spins smoothly. The tripod feet are not very secure and has an awkward feel in my hand. They move a bit. Be sure to unlock the collar on the handle to allow it to spin freely.As a tripod you have to remember to lock the collar down. The tripod's height is static and cannot be adjusted. You can however, put a selfie stick on it, between it and the camera, if you need some height.The handle is pretty sturdy and stable, but of course, you sacrifice stability with the higher the selfie stick is. it can also be used as a small handle on the camera as well. I have used it on occasion for that purpose as well, in order to keep my hand out of the 360 shot and to give me a better grip on my camera.The handle can attached a camera and/or selfie stick in a 180 or 90 degree angle. 180 for tripod and 90 for bullet time. I like that the handle has screw caps on it that can be placed over the screws when not in use.This is a very versatile handle that has many applications and is a great addition to my Insta360 camera. It expends the camera's capabilities and I am able to get some great shots. I am very happy with my purchase.

Love this mini tripod! Sturdy enough to hold while using. Sets up perfectly on a table or counter. Easy to setup and break down. Folds up small enough to fit in a purse. My new go to travel tripod.

This is a nice little handle for the insta360 X3 that allows for Bullet Time shots. It's metal design gives it a little bit of heft, in a good way. It's sturdy yet still light enough to walk around with. The rubber feet are grippy and the swivel action is smooth for good bullet time shots. It's ability to extend some is nice. All in all, this is the handle I'll keep in my bag with my X3.

This has ball bearings in it that make the head spin very well. It's very smooth and spins easily. That's great because it doesn't take much work to get this to spin around. The tripod legs are adequate but they are plastic where everything else is metal. There are rubber covers that go over the 1/4-20 threads but they come off very easily and will probably get lost in my bag. It would be better if they were plastic and you could screw them on or off. I will probably 3D print better ones myself. The selfie stick I already own doesn't have a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom, so I'm not able to connect it to this. I didn't realize that when I ordered it so keep that in mind. This is the spinny handle only and not the horizontal pole that makes the bullet time actually work. I'll have to order that separately.

I got this more for its size than the rotating head but I must admit that concept around this is pretty cool:-) It does open up possibilities :-) Overall, the build is quite good though the plastic handle is a bit of a disappointment. IF you have dry skin, the handles can be a bit "slippery", and in Calgary, in the winter when it is very dry, you have to grip this a bit harder. The caps for the 1/4 inch mount are a nice touch but will probably stay in the bag. I already had extension bars that I use for my stills work so it'll be fun to try this and see how it works. I did try mounting my Ace Pro directly to it and horizontally and it's definitely not stable :-) That expected however due to it's footprint. Definitely for handholding :-) If this is your thing, a cautious recommend.
