I love this bumbo. It is really cool and helps my son sit up straight however, the buckles that are in it I don’t feel our necessary, the older model never had it an I had no issues as this is used on the floor anyway, the tray is good quality and fits well on the bumbo! Highly recommend

Second Update: My grandson is 3 1/2 months old and weighs 13.4 pounds (yeah, he's a big guy!). We were so excited to have this for him. However, even now it's a tight fit and there's no way he'll be comfortable in it as he grows. It never occurred to me that this would be too small, as it's described to be suitable for babies from 3-12 months. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. Maybe donate it to a daycare.This is an updated review. The original one is below. This company's customer service is truly amazing, especially considering the volume of online purchases made every day by millions of people. Within minutes of my request to return the seat, they offered me a discount on the tray-less seat (which adds up to exactly what it will cost to buy a separate tray), thus eliminating a trip to UPS. Very impressed!Original: SUPER disappointed! My 4-month-old grandson LOVES to be "in the mix" with everyone else and I know he'll love this. But I want the option of using a tray, since he'll be able to coordinate his arms and hands pretty soon. So, back it goes. :(

I purchased this seat as a recommendation from a friend and we use it all the time for my 5 month old. The seat is very sturdy, so it provides great support for my baby to practice sitting up. The seat comes with a seatbelt so he is safely strapped in. I also love how it comes with a tray so he can easily play with toys and also eat food. Perfect alternate to a high chair. Definitely would recommend!

I love the bumbo seat for many reasons but the newer design is flawed the straps are such a pain to maneuver out of the way to place baby in the seat especially for a single person! Although this is my personal favorite baby seat because you can place it anywhere and keep baby close while still continuing your daily tasks!

This is a nicely crafted chair, no doubt about that. But our 5 month old baby’s thighs barely fit thru the leg holes. He’s not a particularly big baby either, so that’s annoying. The little table is a nice feature but it’s hard to assemble when the baby is sitting in the chair.
