I haven't done painting for a while, but I wish I had one of these back then. It would have been much easier to deal with those stubborn 1- and 5-gallon cans/buckets. My main need for it at the moment is that I have some 15-gallon plastic water barrels for emergency storage. Those have "bung" plugs, and I have misplaced my old plastic bung wrench. So I needed to have this new one around to open those. But it can be used for so much more. It actually comes with 2 wrenches: the red/black one and the silver one. These are a very useful addition to my tool chest. Worth the price.

I picked up this wrench because I was tired of struggling with stubborn paint can lids and drum bungs. It's a surprisingly useful little tool. The 3-in-1 design means it handles a variety of lid types, which is great. The anti-slip rubber grip is a nice touch, making it comfortable and secure to hold. It definitely makes opening those tight lids and bungs much easier, saving me a lot of frustration. It feels sturdy enough for regular household use and even some light industrial tasks. It's a simple tool, but it does its job well. If you frequently deal with paint cans, buckets, or drums, this wrench is a worthwhile addition to your toolbox.

These wrenches - openers - worked great. They're solid, functional, and easy to use. I paint a lot and these helped me a lot. I used to struggle to open the lids of cans and buckets. These make open the lids much easier. Great tools.

I don’t plan to abuse this tool, but it is a bit lighter than expected. I ordered it to open 5-gallon paint buckets, which I’ll be doing a lot of soon. It fits in the necessary area, so I think it will work well—and I’ll try to come up with more uses for it, as I really like its multi-functional offerings. Good buy

A tool to open 5 gallon buckets is one of those low tech, high value things it’s nice to have on hand if you use such buckets frequently, especially if you have smaller hands or less upper body strength. This tool is simple but sturdy – all metal – and does the job of levering the lid off.

With multiple options for container opening, these are extremely versatile. The wrench does feel very light tho, leaving me afraid it will not hold up to tough conditions like extreme cold. So far it's been OK, aside from being very heavily scratched and dinged up when received.

I ordered this bung wrench to open sealed 5-gallon plastic paint bucket lids. I really struggle to open them and dread doing it so I was willing to give this tool a try. I can report that it works as advertised! I was able to pry up the lid with little effort and without damaging the lid. This wrench is made of alloy and has a nonslip handle that is firmly attached. No chance of it coming off. I’m so impressed with this tool and feel comfortable highly recommending it.
