Very well made and works well. Assembly instructions could be expanded and clearer. They don't show you which way the wire tip end goes into the plastic housing. A closer examination shows the tip is hooked and that hook clips over a metal piece in the plastic housing. After reading the reviews and examining the wire tip I decided to solder (vs. crimp) the tip on. The tip is very sturdy and if going with the crimping method it would take a lot of pressure to collapse the wire hole well enough to hold a 10 AWG wire. If you screw it up it's difficult to "redo" a crimp (as several reviews reveal). Soldering worked great, just put the tip in a vise, hit it with a propane torch and solder your wire in. End result is a quick connection that holds very well and takes a little effort to disconnect (that's a GOOD thing). Love the item!

I bought these to install a charging connection from my sailboat to the starting battery for the outboard engine in my dinghy. Normally I would have to remove the battery from the dinghy and lug it into the sailboat to recharge it, if it was sitting, but now I can just undo the connector and plug the battery into the main DC power on the boat. It was easy to make up the connections, once I viewed a few videos about the process. The plugs come with no instructions whatsoever, so you need to go watch the videos to figure it out. They are easy to connect and stay connected, but then they are also easy to disconnect. Work well with 6ga wire in the dinghy to 10ga wire into the sailboat. Very good price, highly recommended.

Are you Fn kidding me. What kind of electrical part comes with exactly the amount of connectors needed. Your 1 mistake from ordering more of these because there is NO WAY to just get the electrical ends. You want that 5th star, add 2 extra connectors.

The terminal pins do not stay locked into the connector housing. When you plug in they push back. I am going to try and bend the lock mechanism in the connector up so it will provide more tension to see if this works.

I bought these to be able to have a quick connect for my removable winch on my truck. They do not plug together well at all. The crimps did not hold. I have a pair of professional crimpers, but the gauge of the crimp on connection seems to be non-standard. I guess I wasted money on these, trying to save a few dollars. I'll have to buy a set of real ones.

Bought these to connect by electric winch on boat trailer to my truck. Seem to be well made and were easy to install. Shipping was prompt.

I almost messed up on my first attempt to install. It is better to solder the terminals rather than crimp. Should include directions for the novices. Works good for a quick disconnect.

I decided to solder the wires into the lugs instead of crimping them. Worked great and a nice tight fit when done.Works great for connecting my boat battery between the engine and trolling motor.
