I used this on my home made hard cider. Prior to filtering, I used Super Kleer and racked it twice. The filters worked great. I have filtered with #2 and #3 to get a professional look and taste. Well worth it!

Used for bottling around 18 bottles of wine so far, and this filtered the batches well. Price is cheaper than at my local wine/craft beer supply store. Good product!

I make wine as a hobby, I love to drink it and give it out as gifts but the part i like the least is filtering it. This filter system makes it alot easier and i can actually filter it better and by myself. I hope they never stop making it. If you buy these make sure you soak them in water a good 15 to 30 minutes befoe using them.

Works great, but I wish the catch tray was a little longer. Put this in a shallow pan before using! I would also like to see an extra course filter to allow large sediment purification.

If used in accordance with the instructions in the system manual, this system is the #1 way to elevate your homemade wine at least a couple rungs on the quality ladder. Transforms low grade home made plonk into something quite pallatable. Even more powerful when used with higher quality home brew.The mini-jet changed my world.This review, being for the coarse #1 pads, I'd say buy them. Every wine will go through the first stage, but some wines, you might not want to get really fine. Maybe stop after the first stage, maybe after the second. Only some wines will need all three. These are the first stage filters. Gonna need a lot more of these than of #2&3.
