I chose this set of building blocks for my grandson who has started to show an interest is stacking things, linking things together, basic fine motor skills even if he doesn't have the creative bug to build known things yet! This set comes with multiple different sized bricks that can be sorted into any number of different creations, and best part is the container it arrives in is for storage purposes and the lid can be used as a base for the creation being made. My grandson is still within that age range of possibly choking on smaller items so we have made sure to supervise him while using the smaller bricks, but I may remove these entirely until he is of the age to know not to put them in his mouth. Haven't tried ourselves yet, but was interested to see that these blocks are interchangeable with another set so that is an added bonus.

My granddaughter loves when her uncle plays with his legos with her, but I had concerns about her being able to swallow them even though she’s usually fairly good at not putting non-food items in her mouth. I ordered these to give her a set of building blocks all of her own. She couldn’t wait to get them open and they quickly became her favorite toy. A great choice for little ones who want to build with the bigger kids.

The Duplos have become our go-to building blocks set for our older son (4 years old), so we were happy to try this product to add to it. I was the most excited to add the pink colored blocks (it is our son's favorite color at the moment) and the sloped pieces; the fact that the blocks were of the primary colors also was a plus for us, as the original Duplos set that we have is more pastel-toned.Our initial impression over the product has been great. The fit is perfect with the Duplos, and the quality is more than acceptable, especially considering the ~$40 price tag for the 150 block set. As I expected, our son was the most excited about the addition of the pink color blocks, and he got to mixing and matching to build various things the first day that we got the product. We already have a dedicated toy storage box (from Ikea) that we use for the blocks, so the storage box that it comes with wasn't as important for us; however, it definitely is a nice touch to include it, and it is a bonus that the lid doubles as a platform for the blocks as well.Overall, we would recommend this!
