Nice tool, this is the only I could find on Amazon that makes this job. I just have to say, if you are trying to measure THWN-2 wires, this is not the right tool, it just doesn't work for it, is not calibrated for it. When it comes to measure pipes, yes, this will work. anyway, I just get used to it and I just take the diameter and look at my handmade chart to see the size.Other thing that is a little bit annoying is that this has not holes on it. It would be nice to use a strap or other thing to carry it more easily.

Very handy for measuring stranded or solid wire gauges.

The one I received is inaccurate and is off n 1/8 of an inch and when measuring 500kcmil it shows as 450
