First thing to know is that these run REALLY big. I ordered a size medium (for a woman) and they are huge! I don't have small hands for a woman but I could have ordered a small or x-small and these fit much better. I was expecting the outer shell to be thicker and firmer. I don't believe they are really deer skin. They seem too cloth-like to truly be a type of suede-leather. Also, the inner Sherpa liner was thinner than the pictures online show. I was hoping for a thick, soft and warm mitten.

I love these mittens. I live in Minnesota where it can easily be 20° below zero for days in January and February. So they get a true test from me and I can attest that these mittens are comfortable and warm. I bought a pair last year but they did not come in the small size. But despite being too large they are still warm. This winter I found the same mittens in a small size, which is actually very close to the medium size but still happy with them. I do a lot of long walks in the winter, as well as a lot of snow shoveling, so the mittens are the best I’ve found so far!

Very good feel. Liner is removable, but unsure if you can buy replacements. If they are anything like the old pair of mittens I had, they will last for years.
