I've bought several brands of cloth diaper covers and these fit my newborn the best considering it is adjustable. He's 8.5 pounds right now with room to adjust. It's quality fabric and the stitching and snaps are very secure, double gussets around the legs. I use osocozy prefolds underneath with a small strip of fleece against the skin for wicking moisture away. This combo isn't too bulky. I like how the inside liner is continuous and easy to wipe clean. I machine wash and hang them dry. Baby poop does leak out when he has the "blowout" poops, but that happens with the disposables as well, what can you do? And of course they're adorable covers. I have the Buffalo plaid and the grey fox.

So far we really like these covers. It was a bit small when our baby was born, she was born 6 lb 6 oz. Once she hit about seven and a half pounds, it was definitely a very bulky fit, but it did work out okay. No leaking. Now that she's closer to 8 and a half pounds, it fits great. No leaking. Easy to wash. Fits great on small legs and so far is fitting well on bigger legs with some adjustments to the rise setting. Using with prefolds, pad fold at the beginning, now using jelly roll fold with snappi to hold in place.

Identical to Best Bottoms cover, but better yet less expensive. It's made with TPU which is softer than the pul the best bottoms covers are made with. It's very cute on baby, and soft yet thick. It seems substantial enough to not let anything through, and we've had no leaks thanks to the double leg gussets. It's cute, soft, and great quality- those are the reasons why I reach for it over my more expensive best bottoms covers. I also appreciate the elastic around the belly, with some covers baby can get gaping at the belly and potential leaks when napping on her belly. This is very snug and sealed all the way around. Washes up nicely, after washing I just hang it to dry in the laundry room and it's quickly ready to use again. I use it with trifolded prefolds or with best bottoms inserts, both of which work well. The cover itself runs a little small, which is great because you can actually use it for newborns as well, but I don't see a baby over 18-24 months wearing it unless they're slim. Still a great cover I'd really recommend. The only thing I'd change is to have flaps to not have baby's skin exposed to the inner material, (although it's caused no issues, just my personal thing) and to maybe make this in two sizes so that you can size up to wear longer while still getting to use it for a newborn. I have a new baby on the way & plan to use it on him, comparing it to actual newborn sized covers it does get small enough to use, so I love the value of a quality cover you can use for quite awhile.

I am a first time dad and I bought these for my son. I researched our diaper options and decided on flat, flour sack, cloth diapers which I bought at Walmart for about $8 for 10. I use snappies to secure the diaper and fold the diapers into plain squares (search Phyllis Stokes channel on Youtube) and I use these Buttons as an outside cover. They have worked great so far after about 10 days for our newborn. I roll the diapers in the middle (jelly roll) and that helps secure "blow outs" with these covers. (Search "BOMB-PROOF Cloth Diaper Hack").I rate the cover excellent because they are more economical and have all the features I wanted: a not too thick material, easy to wipe clean, good buttons with options for adjustment and double gusseted. I also use and recommend bumbkins cloth wipes and we wet them with water and store them in a OXO wipe container. We use virgin coconut oil only and he has had no diaper rash.

I LOVE Buttons diapers. I highly, highly recommend this brand of cloth diapers, even to parents who don’t use cloth. These covers are great over disposables to keep explosions at bay.The double layer of PUL makes these diapers feel (and function) so much higher quality than some thinner covers. This print is so cute. The colors and the adorable bees make for great bum shots. It arrived in excellent condition and the rise snaps allow for the diaper to fit my tiny, skinny baby as well as my older daughter when she was a chunky infant.

I should have bought these first. I purchased the gDiaper newborn starter kit and they have had major leak problems. I originally only purchased one newborn buttons cover because I was worried they would be too big on him when we first brought him home.My little one was 7lbs 8oz at birth and they fit him just fine. They were a little bulky, but we have had no problems with leaks. I've since purchased 2 more covers and a whole lot more inserts.Perks: snaps not Velcro. Washing the Velcro closure diapers is a pain. With snaps you never have to worry about ruining the diapers because you forgot to close the Velcro tabs.Dry really fast.Easy to put on.Easy to explain to other care givers. My MIO was totally lost when I was showing her my other diapers. The buttons ones are so intuitive.Basically, I think these are the ones you should get. I've tried other diapers and am in the process of selling them so I can make buttons my entire stash.
