Grade 8 hardware is made from durable alloy steel for long lasting use. A black oxide finish gives this hardware a resistance to corrosion as well as minimizing light reflection. The kit is designed to fit Buyers Products 8-Ton Combination Hitches and 5-Ton, 8-Ton, and 15-Ton Pintle Hooks. Included in the mounting kit; (4) 1/2 in. x 2 in. Grade 8 cap screws, (4) 1/2 in. Grade 8 hex nuts, (4) 1/2 in. heavy lock washers, and (4) /12 in. flat washers.

I was able to attach a square hitch to my step bumper on a 1988 jeep Comanche easily using these bolts. The set came with 4 but I only needed 2.

I purchased these to mount a receiver hitch on the front of my tractor easy to install and can hold some weight. I pulled my camper with my tractor using a receiver with these installed.

These bolts are not for the bigger mounts. You need the 9/16 bolts at least for 20 000lb mount and pintle. These are sloppy.
