This is a beautiful checkbook cover; and configured to be very useful. A few lots for ID and credit cards, a loop for a pen; set up for duplicate checks if you wish. It's very pretty. If there is a downside, but only a very small one, it would be that it is a little thicker than most, so takes up a bit more space in a small purse. I like it very much and have received complements on it.

I guess I missed that it is not leather. I was trying to narrow it down to a pretty cover made of real leather. It should last, especially since I don’t write very many checks. It IS very beautiful, just as pictured.

As long as you have to write checks to pay bills, you may as well have a pretty checkbook cover like this one. I like the elastic band that holds it shut.

I rarely use a checkbook. But I operate using two currencies, and normally the "unused" one is lying around in a drawer. This checkbook cover holds everything. It has room for one checkbook to write in, and another in behind in a pouch. It has room for at least seven cards, with room for my cash in behind the cards in its own pouch. A pen holder for filling out paper Customs forms (remember those?) or, oh yeah, writing a check. And a nice attached elastic that, when slid over the opposite side, holds everything together. I appreciate the RFID blocking since all my cards have tap payments.Great organizer that's big enough for everything I have. And looks much nicer than the cheap cover you get when ordering blank checks.
