It is firm, which makes it easy to use to write on, and really is 9 inches. I use pads that are 9 inches, and these fit.

This was thinner however a lot bigger than my other one but I wanted something that would hold money and change. The zipper works great and didn't shred any cash corners. It also holds a bit of cash which was super important to me.

Its got lots of padding in the cover. I dont like the squishy. You cant use the outside cover to write against. It has held up well, the cover has not yet peeled and the spine has not yet shown signs of wear. Inside pockets and zippers are doing well.

It’s a little bigger than my old one but it still fits in my apron comfortably. It comes with a pen but it doesn't go back into the loop very easily so I don’t use it.

Quality is good, it sucks if you’re using in a busy restaurant as the coin holder is tight and you have to open the whole pamphlet to reach coins

it’s bigger than i’m used to but super cute and handy with many compartments! i love the pink i got. only thing is first time i used it i got a pen mark on it from the pen that comes with it and it’s super difficult to remove. just to keep in mind for lighter colours i wouldn’t recommend using pen/writing on a pad directly in the book
