If you are looking for something that gives you a great deal of warmth and a weight sort of like a weighted blanket, then this is the one. This is my second one, for the guest room. You'll get compliments from guests, especially if any of them are cold-blooded sleepers.Softness and weight are a plus. The size runs true for the bed and has plenty of overhang on the sides and end of the bed.Laundering would be a problem. No way this is going in your domestic washing machine. It's pretty huge

This is the blanket that I didn't know I needed! Looked soft, so I thought I'd give it a try. It has some weight to it, and let me tell you, I am sleeping SO much better. I absolutely LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone.. Very soft, you feel like a little baby, wrapped up in comfort and warmth. Well worth the money. Might buy one for the guest bedroom as well.

This is hands down the most comfortable comforter I have ever owned. It is just the right thickness and somehow, still breathable enough not to end up sweaty over night! I typically sleep with the AC around 65°, so i would imagine that helps also. Either way, i know what people are getting for Christmas this year!
