Edit 11/29/23. Still love this tumbler. Had a problem with it. Contacted customer service and they took care of it right away. Awesome company, and the best service! Makes a terrific gift for the holidays. We got one for our grandkids this year.Got this tumbler for Christmas. Favorite gift this year. I Love going out and Beaching and finding Afates, Jasper and Quartz treasures. This unit is great! It's quiet, works well and the company has responsive customer service. It comes with a beautiful color instruction manual. The manual isn't bad. But I've learned from groups that tumble on Facebook and forums that there are several things tumbler manufactures get wrong in the instructions. The biggest one is speed. This tumbler spins too fast in all speeds and will bruise stones easily if you run it in speed 3 or 2. So always run it on speed 1. The manual lists RPMs at the axle I timed the RPMs of the barrel and that is rotating at 70-90. It is still faster than recommended but if you fill the barrel as close to 3/4 as possible along with ceramic filler you can minimize bruising. I included picks from my 2nd Tumble and they turned out good with speed 1 and mostly full tumbler. After first cycle you will need to have filler for other 3 cycles. Ceramic works but if you don't have enough ceramic to fill close to 3/4 I found decorative glass beads at the dollar store that work great as filler. I also use 2 tbs of Borax between each cycle and run for 2 hrs will clean the grit from rocks and tumbler pretty well which is essential por good polish. After polish cycle I run for 2 hrs with 2 tbs Ivory soap flakes to help increase shine. Also be careful in cycle one with small stone as this tumbler turns very fast and small stones can dissappear if you run it for a full week. So I check after 4 days to see if I should pull them out and sub in glass beads as filler. Some stones make take more than a week in first cycle. Agates take awhile and you don't wants pits or irregularities to carry grit into polish cycle. So I try to get very smooth in first stage. Anyways this tumbler is alot of fun and I am looking to purchase other tumblers now. I am particularly interested in a vibratory tumbler, they are much faster and use less grit. Potentially you can have polished rocks in a week instead of a month.

This is a great little machine. Itรขโฌโขs a well built product, itรขโฌโขs super easy to use, and it comes with very good instructions, even suggesting what kinds of rocks to tumble together and what can happen if you tumble the wrong rocks together. (If you are a beginner like me and you find the rocks are disintegrating or it seems like itรขโฌโขs not working, keep working at it, it takes practice.) Iรขโฌโขm glad I spent a little extra for the brushless AND the fact it works within an enclosed case, itรขโฌโขs much quieter than others Iรขโฌโขve seen friends use. There is an offer to obtain additional rocks and an extended warranty. I almost wrote this off as a gimmick but emailed the request anyway and to my delight Daisy responded the next day! And I actually received the extra rocks 3 days after she responded! She even followed up to make sure I got them. This company could teach a class on customer service.

The good : This came with a lot of useful tools and information that my Nat Geo tumbler did not come with such as a screwdriver for just in case, very detailed directions, teflon tape to preserve the integrity of the barrel, and a replacement belt, just to name a few things. It also came with a bag of rocks and some ceramic media in addition to the grit packets. I also liked that it goes into detail about the importance of the Mohs hardness scale and how to use it to get better results. The less good: it is not very quiet as compared to the quiet nat geo tumbler. It is advertised as a 3 lb rock tumbler, but in the fine print says the 3 lbs is max capacity and that the optimal load should be around 1 lb. It tells you to lubricate the belt before your first tumble, but does not tell/show you where the belt is (I found it - little compartment on the back). They do not provide the lubricant for this stepรขโฌยฆ I used what I had on hand: chain lube for my Bicycle It also advises to wrap the contact points on the barrel with the teflon tape they provide but, when I did this, the barrel wouldnรขโฌโขt rotate because it couldnรขโฌโขt get any traction (the tape is too smooth for this to work). In summation, itรขโฌโขs a good little tumbler, so far. I think it has room for improvement in the aforementioned areas, and prefer my quiet nat geo tumbler over this one because it actually holds more and is quiet. Time will tell how they compare regarding durability, but I just started my first batch and canรขโฌโขt speak to that just yet.

The Rock Tumbler is very sturdy and is of the highest quality. I used it for about a week and then the rock tumbler would turn off after a few hours. So, I contacted customer service through an email and they responded within hours and sent me some new belts for the motor to see if that would fix the issue. It did not, but they were so kind. They helped me get a replacement one and that one has been working for a couple of weeks just great.Pros:1. Customer Service and Warranty Help2. Rubber tumbler is very quiet compared to a plastic and metal one I had before.3. Easy to use directions4. I polished the hard to polish agates from the beach and it did beautifully5. Comes with everything you need to start your first batch.Cons:1. 1st Machine was bad, but easy replacement2. The strainer is quite small. Could use that to be a bit biggerBecause of the results and the great customer service I will shop this brand again. Thank you.

So far this rock tumbler has been everything I wanted it to be. It seems strong and durable. Iรขโฌโขve been tumbling rocks for about a month and it is easy to use and not very loud at all. We are loving the way itรขโฌโขs working. The company sent us the promised extra rocks. And are not afraid to reach out to ask if we had questions or need help. These are just rocks we picked up outside- water step one. Canรขโฌโขt wait to see them when they are fully polished!!

I bought this to tumble some seaglass that I had collected that just wasn't quite tumbled enough. The kit comes with a set of rocks and 1 pack each of 4 different grades of grit from Corse to very fine. They include an extra belt, stuff to make jewelry, great instructions and a card to email for additional rocks. It's very quiet, sturdy easy to use and good quality. I did email for extra rocks and it was great customer service. I mentioned that I didn't get the extra belt when I communicated with Daisy for the additional rocks. She was very helpful and professional and said that she'd make sure I got a belt with my rocks. Within a week I had my product and she followed up to ensure I had received it. Awesome all round.

This rock tumbler came highly recommended by more seasoned rockhounds and I was not disappointed. It came with a decent amount of starter grit as well as some little extras like rough stones and jewelry findings. The instructions are clear and detailed and the machine itself works really well.
