I install cabinets professionally every day and I decided to try this lift to save my body some of the effort that comes with one man installation. When I first opened this up I was skeptical at its ability to help. The lift assembles and disassembles very quickly and really needs no instructions for most mechanically inclined people. Once I put it together I noticed it would not extend to 54†which is standard height for upper cabinets here in Texas. I also thought that the carrying bag that is included wouldn’t last a week so I used a different bag of my own. The next day I arrived at my whole house install of the day, which included a couple of 42x42†upper cabinets in the kitchen. I brought along a 6 1/2†tall wood platform I made to make up for the shorter lift height of the tool. Once lined out and set up, I lugged the cabinet over and set it on the lift at about 28†high, and started to crank with the handle provided, it was a very easy lift except that while using one hand to crank and the other to hold the cabinet, it became difficult as, while the cabinet hand moved farther away from the cranking hand, the handle kept coming off. Fortunately this lift can also be drill operated. This solved those problems beautifully and I installed all of the other cabinets and the next days house as well, with the drill. A little but of helpful info; don’t leave a cabinet up unsecured on this lift because it will lean and fall, I have some extending poles that really help with this, and they also help with fine tuning for level. With the speed and ease of drill assisted lifting of these large wall cabinets and the fact that the lift seems sturdy enough to last possibly a few years, if I don’t throw it around when I’m transporting it, I have to give this item 5 stars. It didn’t cost all that much, I can carry it around with one hand, and I don’t feel like I was just in a 4 hour brawl at the end of the day.

Lifted several oversized solid wood cabinets. Huge help for one man operation. Only issue is that it can only lift 48" from the ground which is unfortunate as upper cabinets are a minimum 54" high. Had to put lift on milk crate which worked fine, just had to manually lift cabinet higher to get on the lift.

Although the description is wrong stating 150lbs rating, it’s actually 150kg which is 330lbs. I used two of these to raise (2) hickory countertops long enough to secure them together and then lower the Lshaped countertop into place. These worked like a champ. Each section was 256lbs.

Undisclosed in ad was the quality. if product was used it should have stated that in ad. This should be brand new item, that is what I am paying for and expect brand new product. This product came poorly rewrapped as if someone else had opened it and poorly taped it back up. The tools and finish on quality is obviously used. The bolt threads are stripped, scratched and worn out, the shaft is dirty and scratched and used. Product is dinged and scratched. Not sure I even want to finish opening and assembling to see if chain and pulley works. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Should really have a negative star rating, but there is no choice for that.

Came is and surprised at how well it's made and works.Needed a few additions for installing exhaust hoods and is a little shaky but does exactly what it is supposed to.

New upper cabinets in the kitchen and laundry room. These jacks - with a 24-59" reach (I never went above 48") allow for one-man installations. They are not the sturdiest jacks, but for the occasional installer (like myself) they definitely do the job. The cranking handle worked great it was relatively easy to steady the load while lifting it to the right height. I'm going to install cabinets in my garage in the fall and I'm glad I've got an extra set of hands to help!

This cabinet holder was great. I used it to install a kitchen hood that weighed way too much in my opinion for a hood. It extends tall and is sturdy. It works well with the crank or using a drill.
