I had found this type of product at a large home improvement store and they wanted almost $3 a piece plus shipping, so I thought I'd check Amazon and found these ones for $10 for 12 of them. I ordered the 1/2" NPT threaded ones not really knowing if they'd actually fit in my weatherproof electrical box (for an outdoor light). Well they fit perfectly, I was even able to screw on the "nut" on the inside of the electrical box. Then I wasn't sure if this product would clamp down around a 16AWG 3-conductor outdoor extension cord, but it did and it was a tight fit. I'm so glad I ordered these and would recommend them to anyone!

I've used a few of these to add wiring under my travel trailer. They are easy to install into electrical boxes. They clamp down nice and snug on the wire I'm using and I haven't noticed any issues with leaking.

I used these on a recent boat project to protect some 4 AWG cables passing through a bulkhead and was pleasantly surprised to see that they worked very well. The tip that is on the 'weather" side worked perfectly to compress the rubber ring around my cable and form a water tight seal. The material feels the same as the expensive units I've purchased at the local marine supply store and everything about these seems identical to those far more expensive units. I'm very pleased with the value and functionality of these.

Not a lot you can say about a gland nut, they screw into a junction box of some sort and tighten around a cable. However, these do seem to be manufactured to a very high quality. I saw no defects or mold flashing on them and the plastic is shiny ( I know everyone wants their gland nuts to be shiny, don't they? ). Good product, well made, does the job.
