These work as expected and I needed a USB-C to USB-A adapter, when travelling and staying at a hotel that doesn't have USB ports for charging a USB-C device and you only have USB-C to USB-C cable with you. They seem well made and will do the job.

These adapters are very solid - a thick metal shell, well-made connectors, and no issues meeting the advertised 10gbps. We have lots of Cable Matters cables at work and they've always been reliable, so I expect the same from these adapters in the long term. You can certainly find cheaper adapters, but if you want excellent quality without going too crazy on price, these hit a nice sweet spot.

My computer and wall outlets have older USB-A ports. Rather than buy new cables, I bought this 2-pack of adapters and it has worked very well. Data transfer speeds seem well and they appear to be built well. These are a little bit longer (length-wise) then some other adaptors I have seen/used, but if space is not an issue for where you're plugging these into, these will be fine. They have worked well for me.

This is exact what I am looking for. I need a USB C to A adapter that allows me to connect the uni USB C to 2.5Gbps Ethernet Adapter with my PC's USB 3.0. I have tried a few C to A adapters, only this one gives me the true USB 3.0 speed (5 Gb), and it works on both sides. Highly recommended.

Le periferiche con porta usb C continuano ad aumentare ma non le porte nel pc che spesso le posiziona sul retro direttamente alla mother board. Procedo quindi a cercare un hub usb C ma pochi e costosi quelli in circolazione, nel frattempo come detto i dongle di cuffie, mouse, tastiera ecc richiedono "spazio" ed ecco trovata la soluzione! Questi adapter permettono di gestire qualunque periferica con usb C e poterla inserire in prese usb A, e senza perdita di prestazioni, ogni acquisto ne contiene 2, insomma problema risolto e felicemente!

An older Dell of mine didn't have USB Type C. One of these little adapters ensured I was able to connect my USB Type C external drive with ease, no loss of speed. And you get a spare for when you eventually lose one, as they're quite small!
